The switch requires a 22mm mounting hole, at least one normally open (NO) contactor, and the selector position must be maintained (not spring back) when turned to either of the two positions. The contactor only needs to support the highest current device (in this case the pumps at approximately 1.4A), but most contactors will support up to 10A/240VAC.
